Christopher Bulle (1969-2020) wählte schon den Weg der Bewusstmachung unserer

Welt durch die Linse eines Fotoapparats, als das noch lange nicht en vogue war.

Als man wissen musste, wie man zu fotografieren hatte. Als die Welt noch frei von

Filtern war; so wie es auch Christophers Leben war.

Er war ein Mensch, der das Authentische liebte und jedwedes Artifizielle ablehnte.

Er hatte eine Haltung zur Welt in dieser Welt und blieb sich dabei in seinem ganzen

Leben treu.

Christophers Fotografie basierte auf dem Ansatz der größtenteils menschenfreien

Landschafts- und Städtefotografie, erweitert um skurrile Muster und akzidentelle

Motive. In diesem Bildband wird eine Auswahl seiner umfangreichen Sammlung

gezeigt, die in mehr als drei Jahrzehnten auf der ganzen Welt entstanden ist.

Er fotografierte leidenschaftlich analog, verwehrte sich aber auch nicht der

Digitalfotografie.

Mit diesem Buch wollen wir ihm weiter gedenken und einen Leuchtturm der

gedruckten Ewigkeit errichten, der in alle Welt strahlt, so wie Christopher für uns

sein Leben lang gestrahlt hat.

Christopher Bulle (1969-2020) chose to raise awareness of our world through the lens of a camera long before it was en vogue. Back when you had to know how to take photographs.

Back when you had to know how to take photographs. Back when the world was still free of

filters; just like Christopher's life.

He was a person who loved authenticity and rejected anything artificial.

He had a certain attitude toward the world in this world and remained true to himself throughout his entire life.

Christopher's photography was based on the approach of largely people-free landscape and city photography, expanded to include bizarre patterns and accidental motifs. This illustrated book shows a selection of his extensive collection, which was created over more than three decades all over the world. He was passionate about analog photography, but did not shy away from digital photography either.

With this book, we want to continue to commemorate him and erect a beacon of

printed eternity that shines out into the world, just as Christopher shone for us throughout his life.
